Dongfeng Nissan's Manufacturing Division, InformationSystems Division, and Lanyou Technology jointly held the launch ceremony forthe independently developed Dongfeng Nissan production management system(PUMAS) project at the Zhengzhou Plant on the morning of February 21st.

The launch ceremony was attended by Mr. Li Shitao,General Manager of Zhengzhou Plant, Mr. Liu Yujun, Department Head of ZhengzhouPlant and Mr. Pan Keping,  AssistantDepartment Head of Zhengzhou Plant, Mr. Fang Lixian, Vice President of ShenzhenLanyou Technology Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Guangzhou Branch, Mr. WangHongwei, General Manager of Zhengzhou Fengshen Logistics Co., Ltd., Mr. ZhaoYu, Section Chief of Logistics Technology, Supply Chain Management Department,Zhengzhou Fengshen Logistics Co., Ltd., and leaders and colleagues fromrelevant project departments. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Wang Xiaoying,Section Chief of the Production Management Department of Zhengzhou Plant.

The PUMAS project is an independently developedproject that reconstructs Nissan's core production management system, CATS,which is based on the Nissan Production Way (NPW), while incorporating new businessrequirements. This project, which involved the vehicle and engine plants, wasmore than 240 days in the making by over 260 people. It is expected to generatean annual benefit of RMB 5.6 million after the full plant transition. Theproject team ensures a smooth transition for the Zhengzhou Plant throughthorough preparation in software, data, environment, personnel, and operationsand maintenance. After the transition, the team will verify the normaloperation of the system through physical validation, track abnormalities in thebusiness data link, and establish a post-launch operations and maintenancecontingency plan.

Mr. Fang Lixian pointedout that Lanyou Technology and Dongfeng Nissan's Manufacturing Division and ISDivision have further deepened their cooperation in the field of intelligenttechnology to independently developed the PUMAS, which is a model of DongfengNissan's Glocal Mode implementation in the digitalization field. He hoped thatthe implementation of the PUMAS project at the Zhengzhou Plant will provide anadvanced digitalization foundation for the plant's production management, andaccelerate the Zhengzhou Plant's transformation and upgrade towards intelligentmanufacturing.

Mr. Li Shitao concludedthat the Zhengzhou Plant will face more complex production modes and productsin the future, and the launch of PUMAS will lay a solid foundation for theplant's digital transformation and overall new energy transition, henceproviding intelligent boost for the plant's future development.

The official launch of Dongfeng Nissan's productionmanagement system PUMAS at the Zhengzhou Plant marks a further step in DongfengNissan's journey towards intelligent manufacturing and supply chaindigitization. It will help promote deep integration of the front and back endsof the entire value chain, and contribute to the company's victory in the threemajor transformation battles, "Stabilize, Transform, Expand", with amore flexible and resilient manufacturing and supply chain system.
